ONLINE Fitness Theory Course - March 10 to 19

This ONLINE Fitness Theory Certification Course is the first step towards attaining Personal Training or Group Fitness certification. It is the prerequisite for the Weight Training Course and Group Fitness Course. Topics include anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, movement analysis, exercise technique, training principles, program planning, training for cardio/strength/endurance/flexibility, basic nutrition, weight management and safety. This course is designed to appeal to different learning styles by incorporating lots of visual aids and fun activities. The CFES Fitness Theory Manual and Program Booklet (to be purchased directly from CFES) provide chapter quizzes, activities, assignments and an open book exam, to help ensure success and retention of content. Use of Zoom is required.

Requirements:
 Use of the Fitness Theory Manual and Program Booklet are mandatory for this course.  Please send an email to cfes@telus.net to order your books and have them mailed to your address, the sooner the better.

NOTE: Classes are scheduled in Pacific Standard Time (PST) and every class is recorded. Live attendance is recommended and preferred but class recordings can be sent if you cannot attend the scheduled times.  You are expected to keep up with the homework submissions and completion of the open book exam.
